In a close and rewarding cooperation Laesoe Saltworks have had American ceramist Gregory Miller develop a series of new salt cellars. Gregory have designed the cellars using ancient traditions. Shaping is done by hand and the burning takes places in Gregory's homemade oven at his Danish residence Tolne Inn.
The cellars are carefully stacked and burned with salt from Laesoe saltworks. Buring the cellars with salt adds characeristic and vividness to the glaze making each cellar unique.
The original Laesoe salt cellar comes in two shapes - oval and round - choose the desired shape when adding the cellar to your basket ('kurv' in Danish).
